Do you have cable TV service? Try finding whatever app your cable company provides for this purpose.

Maybe, it depends what channels broadcast it on the internet and which allow you to view it without a subscription, or if those that you subscribe to offer it.

Your best bet, if you don't have a "service" such as a ComCast app that can attach to your ComCast home service, etc... is to Google "live streaming of events", and see who will offer it.

For example: I lamented not being able to see the Rose Parade on New Year's Day, since I don't have regular tv. Someone sent me a link to KTLA's website, which offered live streaming of their coverage of the parade, which I was able to watch through the browser on my Fire.

I would say do your homework now and find out who might be streaming Olympic events. If that website offers other streaming now, you can test it out.

The problem is NBC is streaming BUT you need Adobe Flash installed which, according to other forums, is not usable with Silk

There are many threads on work arounds due to the Flash issue. I suggest using the search box on the right and see which work around will work for you.

Most web sites, when you access their site through an app/mobile version no longer use Flash because Adobe no longer supports Flash on all Android systems. They have upgraded to new/better technology.

I was able to side load NBC Live Extra on my Kindle Fire HD (2012) and it plays the NBC Olympic streaming if you have an account with Directv, Xfinity etc. I also had previously side loaded Flash. I don't know if you need it to run NBC Live Extra.

NBC is great with live streaming, CBS not so much.
