Having problem

Would like to know if there is any one here that can help me my mom got one and it was all set up in the UK now she has come back to South africa and now im battling do i need to deregister and the register with another name and email address

Margaret, The Fire was probably a bad choice for use in SA. If still within the 30-day return period, you may want to consider returning it for a refund. However, there are many KF users in SA, even though Amazon does not sell or support the device for your country.

I have the first kindle fire..I cant get it to is only a year old..does anyone know if it can be repaired?

Donna, you need to contact Kindle CS. There is a known issue with the first generation Fire, and they will take care of you. Click the Help link at the top of this page, then the Contact Us button on the next page. The Call Me and Chat options work well, but I don't recommend email support.
