kindle fire won't charge

Hi I have a problem with my kindle fire, it won't charge and it won't turn on so I can't do the reset that is talked about in other threads. I also tried holding the power button for 30 seconds which is also mentioned. When I plug my charger in it doesn't do anything, no green or orange light. Just nothing.

Any advice would be great, cheers.

Danny.

Use the large orange Contact Us button to the right to contact Amazon Kindle CS and talk with them about it - use the live chat or the call back feature if you can, not email. If you can't see a Contact Us button on this page, then go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/kindle-help.html and contact CS. I advise using Live Chat or the Call Me Back feature and not email, as they will have your account details available to them immediately when you talk with them.

Danny,

I'm curious as what your results were. I just had a pretty unsatisfactory LiveChat about mine. I'm wondering what your experience was like.
