Hei everyone I got the 7" Kindle Fire, it is my 1st Tablet. My question is:

What are the real differences between the 7" and the 8.9"? (Besides size/weight) Is there something better about the 8.9" (besides size) making it worth spending the extra 100? What would you choose?

Also, If I have my kindle acc on the US, but I travel overseas. Can I still purchase apps and books for my Kindle (using my US bank account ofc) or will I have any issues?

I appreciate your imput!

Do you have the Fire HD? I can't think of any difference between the 7in and 8.9in except for the 8.9 allowing a larger memory option and the 4G option with GPS, aside from the screen size of course.

You won't be able to download apps overseas, but you should still be able to purchase and download books.

Screen resolution. It's about the same difference as between a 720p and a 1080p television.
