As long as he registers his kindle to your Amazon account, you can share all the books with oth Kindles

Cassie Anne says:
If you register your husband's Kindle to your account, he'll have access to all the books on the account. I share my account with my husband and my sister...no problems at all. We can even read the same books at the same time.

The Blade says:
You will have to make sure that his Kindle is registered to YOUR account in order to share books with him.

If your daughter ordered it and stated that it was to be a gift, it will come unregistered. If not, it will come registered to her account, but your husband can de-register it from her account and register to yours instead.
