Brandon says:
There should be a feature to give a book back before the 14 days are up if you finished the book.

There is. Remove it from your device.

There is. Go to your Manage Your Kindle page, find the book, and under the Actions tab on the right will be a return option.

Dietz you are slipping. The OP is not wanting free books from Amazon. They are wanting to return a borrowed book before the 14 day period is up to give it back to the lender early.

cannot find Manage your Kindle

It is now called Manage Your Content and Devices. It's at the top of the page, on the drop-down list under Your Account, to the left of the shopping cart.

. On this forum page, at the top where it says Hello Your Name, and underneath Your Account, click on the dropdown box, in there it will have Manage Your Content and Devices. It used to be Manage Your Kindle.

On the books dropdown you can make other selections. Click on the ... to select what to do -return the book, etc.

Hmmmn... See, this is one of those instances where, now that they've changed "MYK" to "MYCD", while the instructions are still the same *generally*, if someone takes it too *literally*, then it's confusing.

Now, if I received the instructions, "Look in Manage Your Kindle", and I didn't see the exact words, "Manage Your Kindle", but I DID see "Manage Your Content & Devices", I HOPE (IhopeIhopeIhope--name that cartoon) that I'd be intuitive enough to think, "Hmmmn. Kindle. Device. Manage. I WONDER IF THAT'S THE SAME THING!"

But I can see where it might be confusing.

I HOPE (IhopeIhopeIhope--name that cartoon)

All I can remember is it was a little girl.
Oliver and Company?

No, and I have to admit that I'm not 100% sure which one it is, but I know it's a Looney Toons.

I WANT to say that it a Bugs Bunny when he's in a sort of Frankenstein castle, and there's weird experiments in cells in the dungeon. I THINK the "Igor"-type character says something like, "...and then he'll let me play with them! IhopeIhopeIhope!"
