As a US Soldier, it would be great to see Amazon include the portability benefits it offers to Soldiers, especially while deployed. Our stores didn't start selling iPads until long after they came out, and it took even longer to get them to start selling the Kindle Reader. My kindle has worked perfectly ever since I bought it, and it fits snug inside the cargo pocket of my uniform, something the iPad couldn't dream of doing. Here's to hoping the new Kindle products are offered at AAFES Exchange stores immediately upon release by Amazon.

Since we are just Kindle users, and Amazon officials seldom post in these forums except to drop off Announcements, it would be better for you to contact Amazon personally if you want them to consider your plea.

You should contact Kindle CS by using the link below and clicking the big gold "Contact Us" button:

OR by using the email option.

Best of luck :)

Thank you for your service to our country Larry. I hope that the individuals in control at Amazon will see your letter, stand up and do the right thing.
