My Discover card doesn't thank them. :( Now I've got to decide how many of the Lord Peter Wimsey series I can afford to buy. (As far as I can tell, all of them have dropped to $2.99 each.)

MamaSylvia- I'm thinking about picking up some of the Lord Peter Wimsey books. I've not yet read any of them, but they sound like something I'd like. Do you think they need to be read in order? It appears later books in the series are better reviewed, so I'm wondering if they're is like Agatha Christie's series (Miss Marple, etc) where it's not a big deal to read them in order.

Thanks!

Thank you for sharing the link! There were numerous books on my wish list that were deeply discounted.

I think Lord Peter Whimsey books can be read out of order without a problem.

I am considering buying the John Jakes series (Kent Family Chronicles & North and South). I already own The Bastard (The Kent Family Chronicles), but have yet to read it.

Any thoughts on these series?? :)

Thanks, Peachy Pat! The Boxcar Children Mysteries Box Set: Books One Through Twelve was priced at $9.99 when the promo was first posted (and during last year's Cyber Monday sale).

Just Peachy says:
There are also some individual Boxcar books for 99 cents.

Alicia says:
Why have the prices on many of the books dropped again since the deals were first debuted after midnight last night? Is this part of the Cyber Monday deal, because usually with the Kindle Daily Deals, the prices on the books do not change throughout the day. A number of the books I purchased early this morning are now listed for a lower price than I paid. What gives?

I got a bunch of Chicken Soup for the Soul books. (15, I think -- but at $1.49 each, that still doesn't add up to very much money!)
