I can not find it on Amazon, does the Amazon Fire 2 have Gorilla glass? Just ordered two for the wife and myself and just curious. Thanks!

I've never seen it stated that the Fire HD has Gorilla Glass, only that it's glass panel is made by Corning. Corning makes Gorilla Glass, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the glass panel is indeed Gorilla Glass.

The original Kindle Fire said explicitly that it used Gorilla glass. I suspect that it is still because most quality devices now use Gorilla glass exclusively. It has become sort of standard. Apple, for example, uses it but has never identified it.

I just did some googling and a number of reviews of the Fire HD mention that it has gorilla glass. I don't think that's definitive, though.

Corning maintains a list on their site of devices that use gorilla glass. I wasn't able to load their site tonight for some reason, but that's a good place to look.

wikipedia lists the original fire on the gorilla glass page, but not the HD. Again, not definitive.

Doesn't really matter. The tablet I have doesn't have it but I have never had any problems with scratches or anything.

yeah, I don't know how much difference it makes beyond marketing speak.
