I have lots of 16gb 32gb and 64 gb micro sd cards. Now Kindle is asking 50 to 70 dollars to change from a 16gb to a 32gb to a 64 gb. Actually the will not allow the 64 gb Micro SD card to be sold with the 8.9 wifi version of the wifi 8.9 only with the 4g version of the 8.9. My questions are why? The cards do not cost that much. I can buy a lot of 32gb abd 64 gb Micro SD cards cheaper that Amazon is selling them. Hey even Amazon sells them cheaper that that. right> also why not be able to put the 64 gb into the 16gb 8.9 version. Hey it fits so it should work what have they done to get it to not work?????

So, when the technical description says: Storage 16GB or 32GB of internal storage - what leads you to believe that this is on a micro sd card? The Kindle Fire does not support a micro sd card (or any other type of memory card).

Sorry. It would be nice, but it is not supported.

D. R. East - The memory on the Kindle Fire models is installed directly into the device, not on removable SD cards.

I have to say that getting QSL's with 100 countries in 1957 would have been quite an accomplishment.
