I have a Kindle Fire HD 7". For some reason, I can't get to my photos. When I click on the photos tab on the main screen, it just goes back to the page it was just at. I know it isn't a response problem, because it registers that I touch the tab, momentarily goes to a blank screen as if it is about to load, then just goes back to the previous screen. I checked the data on my desktop using a USB connection, and there was no folder makes "Photos" within the internal storage. I'd appreciate some help. And if I have to default back to factory settings, will my Apps be saved, or will I have to buy them again?

If you bought the app from amazon it'll always be in your archive so even if you delete it you can download it again. What is bewildering is the fact that you try and use a forum in lieu of using amazon's "Help" link. That's what it's there for and you really should start there when you have a problem. Dang kids!

I did, and I couldn't find a single piece of info that dealt with my specific problem. Thank you very much for the help, though.

What you do is contact Amazon by live chat or phone.
