Just Peachy says:
No one here knows for sure but for the last few years Amazon has announced new Kindles in September.

No one here has any advance knowledge - we're just customers, like you. There have been a lot of sales lately, and it's getting close to the time of year that has seen new models introduced in the past. If I had to guess, I'd say there is likely to be at least one new model of the PapweWhite, and maybe some changes to the $69 basic version. That's just a guess, though, so take it for what it's worth.

Nice cover. We know you know.

Actually, we don't. We don't get advance notice of anything.

I was replying to Folina. I thought she was implying that us "Pros" know stuff in advance. We don't.

Yeah, I replied to the wrong person and noticed too late. :-)

You need to be careful about referring to me by my initials..........might get you zapped!

You prefer the title, "Mistress". We understand.

The accepted response is "I hear and obey".

That made me think of a line from "The Odd Couple." (The movie)

Oscar (to Felix): "You leave me little notes on my pillow. I told you a hundred-and-sixty-eight times I can't .. stand .. little notes on my pillow! 'We are all out of Corn Flakes. -F.U.' It took me three hours to figure out that 'F.U.' was Felix Unger!"

One of my all-time favorite movies!

Both US and international PWs were showing as "out of stock" for a short period yesterday.

One of my favorites as well, because it still makes me laugh, after all these years and after all the times I've seen it.
