My Kindle is registered on I'm from Canada and now that Kindle books are available on, I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the disadvantages are to moving my Kindle to the Canadian site. Any fellow Canadians who have made the transition? Are you happy with your decision? Any regrets?

One big issue is with periodicals. They are not available on the Canadian store, and if you transfer from the US store you will lose any currently active subscriptions and all access to past issues.

Sorry I did it. .ca does not appear to have everything that .com does. :-(
