I know that there are already several threads about the international use of a kindle fire and I read already a lot about the topic.

BUT it is all very confusing, with everybody writing "you can't do this", "you can't do that"...

Is it possible to get a review of what IS possible outside the US?

If you are a US customer ( US credit card and billing adress, country set to US), you can:
buy, download and read books
buy download and use apps
buy, download and listen to music
watch video that was downloaded to the Fire while you were in the US
you CANNOT stream anything, or buy and download other video material.

If you're not a US customer, only the books part works, all the rest needs to be sideloaded from third parties.
