Hi Charlie-bird.

Nice to "see" you.
Have you found anything good lately? It's been hit or miss for me.
The bad:
Healing Herbs and Remedies
Graves' End
Children Who Kill: The Stories of 7 Children Convicted of Killing Their Parents (True Crime Series)

The Good:
If you like cookbooks - I got this one for free and I really liked it! Chicken and Curry - Pakistani Home Cooking (it's $2.99, now). The recipes remind me of my moms cooking and I liked they way the recipes and book is set up. I can loan it if you or anyone is interested.
Holocaust Forgotten was pretty good. Its about the non-Jewish victims. Good - not great, worth a read though.

That is all I can think of at the moment. I didn't grab anything today - so I have no free suggestions. Sorry about that.

I found a few books.

Just the smell of curry makes me ill, so I will not be getting any curry cookbooks. ;o)

I have no suggestions at the moment either..........no problem.

Hey Nospin! How is the summer?

Cool. I know it's not a majority favorite, just offering.
Have a goodnight. You too, Nospin.

It will be better when my son starts his stint as a C-I_T at aspy camp.

Not as hot here as most of the country.

Three weeks
A day camp but I am looking forward to some peace.

How are the short people enjoying the Cape? Is Himself spending all his time golfing?

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 25, 2012 8:40:52 PM PDT
Three weeks of day camp sounds good. You can get some "me time".

They always love it here. He is golfing tomorrow AM. They have a half-6 tee time. The weather has been perfect. A friend said that it has rained every single day since we left FL.

I am so glad you are having good weather and can have time to try and regroup a bit after the sadness of the last few months.

I really needed some down time. Still working from here but have not been sent to Boston, so it has been good.

Hopefully, you won't and can stay put.

That would be nice.

We are having a group of friends over for a cookout this weekend. Steaks, chicken, lobsters and bay crabs. We should have a messy good time. :D
Good thing Monday is trash day.

What are your plans for your down time?

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 25, 2012 9:07:37 PM PDT
~nospin says:
Absolutely none.
Just read and relax.

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 25, 2012 9:11:30 PM PDT
That will work. I have been reading a lot the past 2 weeks. It has been very enjoyable. I finally got around to reading The Mill River Recluse a couple of weeks ago. I found it to be very good.

Still have not gotten around to that one but thanks for the rec.

My eyes have been giving me fits again and I have not been able to read a lot. I am listening to the Count of Monte Cristo for the forum group when I cannot read the book.

Otherwise, reading is slow and I am hoping if I have uninterrupted rest time I will be able to read again.

I just downloaded a TTS book this AM. Want me to see which one it was?

~nospin says:
Sure.
Although I have been enjoying rewatching West Wing through Prime Instant Video.
