Maria, self-promotion is against the rules of the forum. I suggest you remove your post before Amazon removes it for you. The only place you're allowed to promote your own work is in the Meet Our Authors forum.

I, along with many others on this forum, automatically add authors who break the rules to my "do not read" list. (And in this case, the poor writing in the blurb turned me off even more.)

The sample looks like the bio that a therapist or counselor has you write out.

You have my admiration, Folina! I couldn't stomach the blurb, let alone look at the sample.

Oh, her mother hated her, so she gave her perms. Her mother hated her, so she made sure to stick her with pins during dressmaking. Her mother hated her, so she bought her ugly shoes. It appears to be one long, "My mama never loved me," saga.

Well I guess repetition is one of the things that makes for an easy read :-)

I sure haven't read it and I guarantee I never will.

Reported.

Her mother hated her, and had family members give her ground chuck for birthday presents.

Yikes, just looked at the price. That's a lot of money for sour grapes.

My parents never once encouraged me. They never told me I was smart, or could do anything I set my mind to. Perhaps I should write a book. You know, complain about how they spent most of their days working to pay the bills and put food on the table. It was horrible.

You have just guaranteed that many people who read this forum will now purposefully NOT buy this book. We aren't stupid.
