Is there any way, or plans to make available, books that I have purchased on Amazon in the past (physical books, not ebooks) can be transferred to ebooks? I have a whole collection that I love to reread but would love to have them available on my Kindle Fire. And Amazon is where I purchase almost all of my books.

Why would they do that? Just because I bought a bunch of DVDs, are they going to give me a bunch of blue rays to replace that collection just because I upgrade devices?

I don't think so.

Jennifer, no, there is no way to do that. Many times, the company that holds the copyright for the digital version is not the same as the company that holds the rights to the paper version.

It is like VHS tapes. When you switched to DVD, you had to buy them again, and if you want Bluray, you have to buy that one.

Yes, when they're transferred into ebook form by the publisher, you can buy the Kindle version of the book and read it on your Kindle.
