My archive has become useless to me because of it's large size. I've only got about 1000 books which is small besides some people's but really paging through 100 pages to find the book I want to download? What will I do 5 years from now with 200 pages to find a book in? I'd easily give up collections for my loaded books for collections in Manage My Kindle and the Archive which is where they are truely needed.

Probably because the MYCD page is for all devices registered to the same account, each of which would have different collections.

Otherwise, yeah, preaching to the choir.

Edited for clarity.

I still think even for those families with joint accounts that a single joint collection could work. Genres will be the same for each device. If they wanted to separate out unreads for each individual just have John's Unreads, Mary's Unreads, ect. Or John's Favorites and Mary's Favorites. A single person with multiple devices would have no problem. It's not like there is a small limit on the number of collections. Anything would be better than none at all.
