Hi,

I am trying to connect my Kindle Fire (1st Gen) to the Hotspot created using Connectify. On my Kindle Fire, it says 'Obtaining IP Address' and then it gives a pop-up that 'Unable to connect to the network'.

Has anyone successfully used Kindle Fire with Connectify? I am on Windows 7 and my KF is not rooted.

Regards,
Visakh

It's probably an ad hoc connection.

dfn.ninja, thanks for replying.

It's not an ad-hoc connection. I created an Access Point with WPA2
