Can you no longer borrow monthly books without subscribing to Unlimited? I can't find any.

They're all still there. Follow this search process:

Toggle to Kindle Store. Go.
Click Kindle E-books.
Type into search window the words: prime eligible.
Go.

THOSE results *ARE* in fact KOLL books; they just don't show the banner on that list view. PICK A BOOK, and you'll see on the product page that it will have the Prime logo.

When I pick a book, the box on the right says "read for free with prime unlimited" . click on that and it takes to a page that wants you to sign up for unlimited. nothing about borrowing .

Have you already borrowed your one book for July?

Read it again. There is no such thing as "Prime Unlimited" There is Amazon Prime and there is Kindle Unlimited; the two are completely separate.

There is no such thing as "Prime Unlimited." There is Kindle Unlimited or the Prime logo next to a book that indicates its availability as part of the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. There's already enough confusion with the introduction of Kindle Unlimited without creating more.

At any rate, remember that *you can only borrow a KOLL book using your Kindle device.* So if you look at books on your computer, you will NEVER see the Borrow button as it applies to the KOLL. From your computer, the only borrowing you can do is if you join the Kindle Unlimited program.

Right .... I meant Kindle Unlimited

The way they have implemented this is absolutely bonkers, but the KOLL is still available. If you use your Kindle and go to the page for a book that's part of it, and you click the Read for free button, it will recognize your Prime membership and lend the book as part of the KOLL. If you already have a KOLL book checked out, it'll direct you to KU, unless you are already a member.

At least, that's what it's supposed to do.

Of course, because you can't borrow KOLL books from here online. Browsing here online is ONLY for the sake of FINDING books, and adding them to your "to borrow" Wishlist.

I didn't say you could BORROW them following my instructions; I said you could FIND them. As always, you MUST borrow from the Kindle itself.

If you already have July's book out, your Borrow for Free button will NOT show on your Kindle, either.
