I learned something new about my Kindle and decided to share. This is in the User Guide but described differently there. I just found out I can highlight a word or phrase in a book and have Kindle search Google or Wikipedia for it!

These are the instructions for the Kindle Keyboard:

Turn on wireless.
Use the 5-way to move the cursor to the word.
Press the center of the 5-way.
Use the 5-way to move to the right so you highlight the word (or words".
When you get to the end, do NOT press the 5-way but press the Space Bar.
A little window pops up.
Press the down arrow twice. This will highlight "save note"
Press the right arrow - now you see "find, my items, store, google and wikipedia". Use the right arrow to select the one you want searched.
When you are done reading, just press the back button to return to your book.

Thank you ever so much for posting this. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out how to do this, even though I knew the Kindle was capable of doing it. You are a saint.
