All of a sudden I have a brand new look to the MYK page: it allows for selecting multiple books and performing bulk actions on them. I haven't tried it long enough to see any negatives. Does everyone have this, or is it rolling out gradually? I haven't seen any announcements.

if it's like the last one, it may only be a test and I only saw the last one for a couple of hours

Oh, my! This may be serious. I also have the new page. I never saw the previous test. This one may be the future.

Anyone know where to find pending deliveries now???

OK, I found a list under Orders, Open orders. Not as nice as the Pending page because it doesn't list prices and the order of the listing is by date ordered rather than date to be delivered.

first impressions: the new MYK page is world better than the old one (it keeps me on the Borrow screen so I can delete expired borrowed items), it only lets you delete 10 items at a time (but better than 1 deletion at a time and refreshing back to the beginning (which is what the old system did)) hopefully it stays around and makes it to everyone (I'm using Chrome if that matters)

ETA: it seems like borrowed Books are still listed on the MYK page even after you delete them (they vanished from my kindle fire cloud archive and my basic kindle archive which is more important to me than whether they vanished from the MYK page but it means that I have to keep track of what I've deleted on MYK, (oh amazon, why can't I just say delete all expired Borrows and it magically happen?)

Hate it. Hate it. Hate it.

Need the numbers! The display is so less user-friendly. I perceive (at this point) no new or increased functionality. I perceive only a change-for-change's-sake.

Sigh.

Found it under "pending deliveries" (the bottom choice on the first drop down menu), then "pre-orders" from the second drop-down menu. And mine are listed by date they are coming out.

I really like being able to do bulk actions and not have the list re-load after every single one.

CBRetriever says:
nope - I don't see it

oops, I do on Firefox and if you go to the Your Account page, there's a link to View your Kindle Orders under Your Orders that takes you to the old style page where you can see the pending orders

Thank you! I hope that they leave that old format there. I've bookmarked it so I am not (yet) forced to use the new format.

you can see your pre-orders under the Your Orders - View your Digital Orders page by switching to Open orders, but I have a feeling that will have physical items mixed in with digital items

that will be nice if they leave both up!

logged out of my account once I cleared all the loans expired books from the new MYK page and when I logged back in and re navigated to the manage your kindle page I was greeted with the old page. (frustrated sigh)

I HATE the randomness of what you see on amazon when you go to the same place on the website at two different times, that said it took me less than 30 minutes to delete 2 years of borrow expired books (about 100 books at a guess)... I was going to delete a bunch of random free books but I guess I have to hope for the new page to randomly appear again.

why amazon why?

who knows - I see it on one browser and not the other

FWIW, same-old, same-old on (my) Silk. I'd like to see this thing...

so far both Silk and IE have not changed for me.

it's the same browser for me (Chrome) I wanted to see if deleting the expired borrowed books would update on the MYK page. (it did delete them from my kindle fire book tab as well as from my kindle 4 archive section but I was hoping logging out and back in would (perhaps) delete them from the MYK screen as well. (based on the old screen, it seems that deleting items only deletes them from your kindle device archives as they still show up on MYK).

FWIW, the visual interface is a bit hard to see (the visual contrast isn't as good as these forum pages and all the boxes are grey on a white background) (ie I wanted more visual contrast which the old pages had)...I couldn't find a setting on the new screen to increase visual contrast

ETA: it seems like using the new MYK page I was able to delete items from the borrowed tab and have them vanish from the MYK page (it just took about an hour for the change to take place as I was looking at the old MYK page and it seemed like most of the books I used the new page to delete had actually been deleted (I can live with a lag in how long it takes Amazon to update...now I'm just waiting to see if the new interface comes back so I can bulk delete freebies

Thanks Denise. I found it there.

Wish Amazon still showed the purchase price. Progress???

Mary McManus says:
I get the new one in Firefox and Chrome and the old one in Safari. The whole thing is unnerving. It took awhile to find the pre-orders but as others have said, they have disappeared from Pending and turned up in Open Orders. I have not had a reason to mass delete books, probably because with library borrowing, as soon as I return the book, I then delete it from my library since it does not really belong there. Do the words MY Library mean nothing? Since physical books returned to the library are no longer with me, I see no reason for the digital ones to remain.

I see the new page using Safari on an iPad Mini.

I have the new page. I haven't played around with it yet. It looks somehow incomplete to me. When I first saw it, I thought my computer was slow in loading the page. It is very sparse looking, especially as compared to the last experimental change.

Mary McManus says:
What WOULD be a plus if the new version can manage it would be to load faster than the old one did. With the old one, I often needed to find another activity till it had loaded all my books, which are under 800 and nowhere near what many have.

Using IE, and I don't have it. I didn't get it the last time, either. I really want to try it because I have a chunk of books I want to delete from my account (old freebies that I never got around to reading).

I love it on my ipad. All of those dictionaries have disappeared. Works for me.

In reply to an earlier post on May 26, 2014 9:09:11 AM PDT
Dog Lover says:
They haven't disappeared. They are just in a separate grouping. They were never in the 'books' part of MYK anyway - they showed up in the 'all' category on the 'old' format.
