Ms. Mama says:
I just logged onto Manage My Kindle to delete a library book and found four foreign language dictionaries and four kindle users manuals in the same four foreign languages. They all had the same date, June 18, about three days ago. I haven't connected to wifi since then so don't know if they are on the kindle or what. Has this happened to anybody else.

Amazon supplies them free. If you delete them from your Library, they will keep coming back. Just ignore them.

Yes, Ms. Mama, it happens to everybody. :) Those dictionaries are there so that you can switch your Kindle to other languages. They are not downloaded to your Kindle unless you choose to do that, so they aren't taking up any memory there. They don't cost you anything. You can think of them as part of the Kindle's operating system...they enable the Kindle to perform as advertised.

If you ignore them, they will fall off the top of the list as you make additional purchases. If you delete them, by the way, Amazon will restore them (to maintain the Kindle's advertised capabilities), which will put them back at the top of the list.

Why did they show up on June 18th? I'm guessing you have a Paperwhite...a recent update to that model may have made them appear.
