I have a refurbished Kindle. It now freezes and it is slow at times, blurring pages. Any suggestions?

Artist is right - there's no such thing as a Kindle Dale. You can check to see which model of kindle you have here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=201263790

Generally speaking, though, the first thing to do is to hold the power button in the ON position for 30 seconds (time it) and then allow the kindle to restart, which takes a few minutes. A second thing which often slows a kindle down is having more than 2-300 books stored on it.
