1. is it charged? If not charge it for at least half an hour, although Amazon would recommend about 4.
2. Have you tried to reboot it? If not, try holding the power button for 20 seconds and releasing (after the device is charged)
3. If this does not work, contact support. If your Kindle is still within the warranty, they will send you a replacement. Otherwise, they will give you your other options.
