Games off kindle 2 won't transfer to my new kindle fire

By "Kindle 2" You're talking about one of the e-ink models?

If so, those games are called "active content" and they cannot run on the Kindle Fires because it is of a different operating system than the ereaders, so that is why they did not "transfer over"

Edited to add: Visit the Amazon App Store -- there are thousands of games there, many of them free. You could also search for the titles of your old games to see if there is a Fire compatible version...but you WILL have to repurchase those.
