This week for first time I could not download book for my old kindle (keyboard type) from library or kindle store. Instead, they are being delivered to kindle cloud which I never ordered or desire. I have never had problems with kindle before. Have done the kindle problem check and restarted after holding start button for 20 seconds. HELP1

First, edit your post and remove your email--we're other customers, not Customer Service.

Now, from Home, press Menu, select Settings and check that your KK is still registered.

If it's still registered, you might have inadvertently opened a second account and are trying to buy ebooks on an account that doesn't have a device registered to it. Go to a book's product page and open the dropdown 'deliver to' window below the buy button to see if there are any devices listed.

goforths, have you recently purchased a new KIndle?

When you purchase something in the store look at the "Deliver to" under the buy button and make sure it is still set to the old Kindle. If it is not, go to http://www.amazon.com/myk and look on the left side and select Manage Your Devices.

You will need to edit the names of the Kindles until the one you want is listed first alphabetically.
