ok - I needed an approximate 45 degree angle for using my HDX 7 while sitting at a table.
Anyone figure out how to get that with the origami case?
At the moment I bent a piece of mental for the mags to attach too to allow the 45 degrees, but just one more thing to carry around!
In all other aspect the case is nice!

thanks

Grimwinder says:
When you fold it correctly, such that the two smallest triangles are stuck face to face, it should sit at approximately that angle, both in Landscape and Portrait positions. See photos/video here-

You'll need to flex the cover back and forth a bit to get the correct fold, it can be a tricky little bugger at times ;-).

thanks for the link!
I don't have a compass to really measure the angles but
When I have it like the Pic I would say it is at about 55 degrees and as I was trying to figure this out I realized I'm looking for closer to 33 degrees.
I know that can't take care of all preferences.
I have a "rooCASE Amazon Kindle Fire 7" Case - Dual View Multi Angle Tablet Case" case with my 2nd gen Kindle. could do pretty much any angle to wanted though getting it too actually stick to the angles I wanted - iffy to start with and after a year no longer possible with all of the cat and beard hair embedded in it :)
Thanks! I'll have to ponder on it some more.

I also had a Roo case for a Kindle Fire HD. I wasn't as good quality as the new Origami case, or as thin, but it worked much better and was a real bargain. Amazon has to rethink the Origami case! Hard to believe they didn't get it right, given that they had the Roo case to compare it too.

I can't compare to the Roo case, but the Amazon origami case is perfect for me. Exactly the perfect angle for me, and it doesn't matter how I set it down, still just right. To each his own.
