I would like to transfer all my kindle content onto a newly purchased laptop. I downloaded the kindle app and transferred all my purchased books, but how do I transfer docs, video and apps? Or is it even possible? The laptop is a Dell Latitude 6410, if that makes a difference.
I have a kindle fire hd.

Thanks for your help!

The Artist says:
Why do you want to transfer them to your computer? All of the content that you purchase from Amazon is saved on their servers/your cloud.

Android apps don't work on a computer, and Amazon video would have to be downloaded directly to the computer, not transferred from the Fire.

I'm not sure what you mean by "transfer", and what device the items were on earlier. But basically:
1) books are coded to a particular device. You'd need to download new copies to the new device from your Amazon archives.
2) documents - do you mean personal documents that you've sent to your kindle archives? They're not viewable in kindle apps, only kindle devices.
3) videos - same as books, I think, and as Artist says.
4) apps are software for mobile devices. A laptop doesn't count as a mobile device, it counts as a computer. You'd need to download the appropriate software for a computer system, not apps.

Thanks. So I could download already purchased content onto the laptop?

If you've registered the kindle app on the Dell to the same Amazon account as your content is on, and subject to the limitations already described, yes.
