I got $70.33! I was gobsmacked when I opened the email. I figured I'd be getting a couple dollars worth of credit if I was lucky.

*goes off happily to check wish list*

It'll show up in the confirmation email--there will be a line in the payment summary that will probably say something like "Promotional Credit" with a minus sign and the amount of the purchase.

Mine is only $7.30. I buy a lot of Kindle books but not many from the major publishers involved in the settlement so I didn't really expect to get anything.

I'm glad many of you are getting such large credits since this means you have paid a great deal for the eligible books. I wonder how much the lawyers are getting paid.

I'm not finding it in my account either but here's what it says in the email: "You don't have to do anything to claim your credit, we have already added your credit to your Amazon account. We will automatically apply your available credit to your next purchase of a Kindle book or print book sold by Amazon.com, regardless of publisher. The credit applied to your purchase will appear in your order summary. If your account does not reflect this credit, please contact Amazon's customer service."

do we have to apply it to our account i thought i read it was already applied to our account i would hate to buy a book and be charged for it

Posted on Mar 25, 2014 5:21:36 AM PDT
I got $392.20. It's going to be gone by lunch time as I've been trying to read what's on my kindle instead of buying more.
When you buy a book it shows as a promotional credit so no charge to your account.

I don't think I paid a great deal. I rarely pay more than $4.99 and mostly was getting freebies during those years.
