I hope this isn't a stupid question but I haven't been able to find the answer. I have a Kodak printer that I can connect to wirelessly and I found an Ap in the Amazon Ap store called KODAK Pic Flick. If that Ap works on the Fire, does that mean I can print? Or am I missing some important detail?

The Kindle Fire does not have bluetooth. So it will not work with a wireless printer. You will have to move your items to your computer and print from there. Or you can e-mail them to yourself and print from your e-mail program from any computer.

Who said anything about bluetooth? What the OP needs is a driver that will allow him to send docs over his wifi network to his printer.

We have a wireless printer as well. I am expecting some sort of ap to allow printing from the Fire. Bluetooth has nothing to do with it.

MY HP printer uses WiFi for all functions, works great. It would be nice if the Fire is capable of sending via WiFi for printing. But that is certainly not a deal breaker.

There are a lot of printers that work over WiFi. Weather the Fire will be able to print from them no one knows right now.

For any printer to work you must install printer drivers on the device. I'm not aware of any drivers available for the Fire.

Jo MW says:
Well, you can use apps to print from Android devices that don't require extra driver installation over and above the app itself. I use an app called Printershare. It's available on the Amazon App Store, but that's not a guarantee it'll work on the Fire.

The app deals with the drivers

I tried a printer app on my touch, it does not work, I think you really have to have the product drivers, they are much more sophisticated than an app

I don't have my KF yet, but from my experience, you don't need the driver on the kindle. What you need to do is use your computer as a server and print from your kindle via your server.

Go to youtube everyone and lookup how to get drivers there's also videos to install the android app to get all the other games etc. You have to root your device first but driver codes could be implemented in the files manually takes a few steps but worth it you'll have ur fire all decked out like an ipad

If you are trying to download and print grocery coupons, it may just be better to do it from a computer. Normally you have to download some type of plug in to print grocery coupons, and it may not be compatible with the Kindle Fire's web browser.

Amazon tech support does not require money.

If anyone asked you for money for assistance, you were NOT talking with Kindle customer service.

The type of plug ins that most grocery coupon websites require may only work on browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox, and may not be compatible with the Android operating system on the Kindle Fire.

Amazon customer service is always free. Not sure who you were talking to...

Turkey to reach Amazon tech support (which is free), you click on help at the top or bottom of any Amazon page. Then you click on the Contact Us button on the next page. Then answer the questions and the correct contact info is shown. I suggest using phone or chat to resolve the issue quickly.

There is never a charge to talk to Amazon tech support, even if your Kindle is out of warranty they will troubleshoot at NO charge
