I have multiple computers plus 3 kindles. Is there a limit to the number of pcs I can download the kindle reader to?

No there is no limit to the number of devices or apps that you can have registered to your account.

The only hangup would be with specific books. Most books will only allow you to have them downloaded to 6 apps/Kindles at the same time.

Why would there be a limit? It is a free app, there is no limit.

Thank you. I have searched and finally found the answer to my question right here. I have a kindle keyboard on the blitz. I use it at work. My kindle fire is for home. I'm thinking of buying a new kindle and thought about de-registering my original. But I was really afraid I couldn't get all my books put onto the new one. I thought there was a limit at two devices. Wheeeeew!

I know you posted this two years ago but are limited to 5 registered pc's or can deregister a device if you upgrade or buy another system but AMMO keeps count of what you have and will remind you of your total at current time and download.

No. You are most certainly not limited to 5 registered devices. I currently have 19 Kindles, 2 Q10s, another android tablet, a PC and the cloud reader registered to my account.
