How do I disable my son's ability to order items on his Kindle?

My son's and my Kindles are linked to the same account. I want him to be able to use his Kindle with the apps that are downloaded on my Kindle, but I do not want him to have access to ordering. The only thing I see is that I can de-register his Kindle, but I don't think this is what I want.

Use the Parental Controls to turn off purchasing.

U.R.Nuts says:
Use your God given "parental controls" as a parent to direct him as to what you decided to be the rules.

If that doesn't work sell his Kindle on Ebay.

There, problem solved.

I read it that way first, too :-) But on a second reading, I understand U.R.Nuts to be saying that every parent has the power (God-given, if you believe in God) to MAKE RULES. They can say to their child "Do not do that". And if the child then disobeys, the parent can withdraw privileges.

So effectively what the OP is asking is "How can I set up the kindle so as to prevent my child disobeying a command I give?"

Nah. I thought the big and all-powerful one was Oogle - or something similar?
