Marion Stein says:
Trying to have a civil, intelligent, on-topic discussion on an Amazon forum is like ......

a) pissing in a blizzard
b) trying to explain the uncertainty principle to your cat
c) flying with your arms
d) all of the above

Anyone else want to join in?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 15, 2013 4:47:02 PM PST
My cat explained Heisenberg's uncertainty principle to me.

The dog still doesn't get it.

A. Dietz says:
Was your cat certain of the explanation?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 15, 2013 4:56:48 PM PST
I think so.

He said you can know where a particle is OR how fast it's going but you can't know both.

But cats, you know, never seem to lack certainty.

Hey, could you all upvote everything before the DVF makes every post disappear?

Good point. I should have explicitly stated "against the wind."

And he also manages to crap IN the box at least half the time too.

My cat is silently mocking this thread.

Who's that silly? Go back inside.

The Artist says:
Cats don't need you to explain the uncertainty principle to them -- they know everything there is to know about it. They just don't care. And they don't like that you keep talking when they've already yawned in your face a few times.

I'd say it depends who participates.

(Pissing in a blizzard is much, much easier with a Shewee, by the way - at least for girls. www.shewee.com)

Actually, I've seen many of the posters on this thread participate in civil, intelligent, on-topics here, although this may not be one of them.

I usually fly with my arms. I hate leaving them at home as I may need them when I get to my destination.

edited because I can't spell

Long ago, before the forums were overrun with spam, thoughtful and erudite discussions were common here on Amazon.

This discussion went on for 40,000 post before SPAmmers drove everyone off:

Marion Stein says:
Can I get that on Amazon? Is delivery free with Prime?

And we're off and running....

Of course you can, Marion:

As for whether delivery is free or not, that presumably depends on what else you order. I'm not in the States, so I don't know much about Prime.

Daniel this is the second thread you've hijacked with a totally unrelated question. Please go back to the main page for this forum and start your own discussion, you'll get much better responses. Thanks.

Daniel - Please post this question in the Kindle Help Forum. Someone can give you instructions there.

I've already given him an adequate response in the Aussie thread - four minutes before he posted here. I'm not sure if that's the other thread you knew of, but if not, then it's three threads he's hijacked, and if he just stopped the scatter-gun approach he'd already have read his answer.
