Kindle Fire HD 8.9

I've had a Kindle Touch for a while and it remembers my bookmark just fine. Since having the Kindle Fire HD, I set a bookmark when I'm done reading - I see it appear on the page and all is fine.

When I go back to reading, whether I put the device in sleep mode or completely shut down, the book opens to the correct page - but I can't see the bookmark. If I go to the next page or the previous page and then back to the page when the then shows up!! It's driving me nuts.

Anyone else??

If this is the worst of your problem count yourself lucky...personally I could care less because you still get back to the same page whether or not you use a book mark...I never do...I suggest you do the same and go nuts over something worth while.

This also happens on the Kindle for Android app as well. Also put Fud53 on ignore like the rest of us. You will be happy you did.

Thanks guys. I'll ignore the defective individual who has a lot of time on their hands.

Ok - since I'm not the only one I'm sure it will be fixed in a patch at some point.

The device is still awesome of course. But when you don't see your bookmark, even though you go back to the same page, I think it's logical to think...didnt I bookmark this page? So...that's all.

The only other issue I have with my Kindle is the items that don't stay removed from the carousel when I remove them. Obviously I'm not alone on that one and, again, I hope a patch fixes it at some point.

Thanks for your responses!
