Just to us, since we're other customers. Contact Amazon and ask them.

Loz says:
http://gadgetinsiders.com/amazon-kindle-fire-hdx-price-slashed-ahead-of-valentine%E2%80%99s-day-14256/ - This has a line that says there is no information as to how long the offer will be in place.

http://www.examiner.com/article/valentines-day-2014-sales-kindle-fire-hd-and-hdx-discount-at-amazon - this one says "This Valentine's Day 2014 sale at Amazon is a limited time offer, so be sure to take advantage of it now"

Google is your friend. As Amazon would be had you contacted them directly to ask, instead of expecting other customers to know...

A. Dietz says:
You're talking to other customers here, Amazon doesn't tell us information like that.

No problem. Always happy to give a well timed haughty lecture.

And that it was, Loz. Might try giving folks who post on the "Kindle" forum the benefit of a doubt that they don't realize it's non affiliated with Amazon customer service; since that wouldn't be readily apparent given that it is a link on Amazon's home page. But nah, just chew em up and spit em out. Oh, and tell them to use Google instead of coming straight to Amazon - make perfect sense to me!

Loz says:
It should make perfect sense. They will get much quicker answers by googling the problem they are having. It took me all of a minute to get the two links I posted. Whereas it is much more difficult to manage to find your way to the Amazon forum if you have not been here before. There is no link for the Kindle forum on the home page.

Laziness is not an excuse.

I forgot why I had you on ignore. Now I remember.

Edit: You DON'T know what she posted or what her attitude was, because she deleted her posts 5 HOURS before you ever posted. Now that's really stretching the nanny finger wagging.

And I almost forgot how gosh awful you haughty lecturers were...but not really. I expect it when I come here, Artist of Snark. How did you even get invited to have an opinion? OH< you just JUMPED on in here with name calling? Need a vocabularly upgrade....usually people who call names can't verbalize well. Anyway....puh leeze keep your threat and ignore me. So much nicer here when most of the snarkers do!

Who verbally abused you so badly when you were a child?

This is a perfectly reasonable, no-frills, basic statement of fact. Would it make it easier for people to accept this if it had a lot of hearts and curliques and stars with it?

No Gold Stars, they make the other kids feel inferior....

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 11, 2014 6:51:29 AM PST
OMG. Gold stars. There were gold, green, silver, and red. Maybe blue, but I don't think so.

And if you got 100%, you got that BIG GOLD MEDALLION sticker. So big. So shiny. So "I GOT 100!" *sigh* Good times.

they're black, not gold and hence are OK

There are some schools where the teachers are not allowed to make corrections in red ink, because it upsets the speshul snowflakes too much.

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 11, 2014 6:54:40 AM PST
I've heard that--I also heard they've gone to purple. Because purple is non-confrontational. My kid's teacher still uses red.

-4 or B+ still appears on his papers in RED tyvm! And we are okay with that.
