Amazon Prime Kindle Lending Library Question

I'm curious about the lending period.

Say you check out a book today, the 14th of the month, and return it three days later. Does the new lending period start on the 1st day of the next month, or on the date (the 14th) you checked out the previous title?

Thanks. :)

It is a maximum of 1 book per calendar month.

EDIT - This link will answer your questions -

Thanks, Vickie.

I had read that earlier, but was unsure by what they state as "calendar month" meant starting from the beginning of the next month, or a month from they day I borrowed the previous one.

It makes the most sense to borrow a book on the 1st or 2nd of the month, because while you CAN keep a book as long as you want, if you keep it past the 1st of the next month, you're cutting into your next loan.

Although, if you know you can read a book in a week or two, it doesn't matter.

Thanks, Folina... I'm a pretty fast reader a good part of the time, but that's a good suggestion to keep in mind. :)

 Ann says:
The lending period starts on the 1st of the month.

I've been known to borrow a book right at the end of the month, read and return it in a few days, then borrow the next month's book.

Thanks Ann. Now to start planning what I'll borrow in December.

You have all been so helpful...thanks.
