When viewing apps on the Kindle I've been clicking on "Save for later" and it then shows the app as Saved for later, but when I click on my saved for later list it says there are none.

Any ideas??

I've tried this both with free and pay to play apps as well as rebooting and no luck.

I don't see "save for later" anywhere on the app store. So...don't know what you're talking about. Have you called Customer Service?

ETA: I was on my Fire this morning, and tried to find what you were talking about. The only "save for later" I can find is for physical items that I put in my shopping cart.

But for apps, I do not find such an option. I can put apps on my various Wish Lists. Is that what you mean?

For @Folina DuBernol, @M Henzel is referring to the "Save For Later" feature on the kindle that appears at the bottom underneath every app page when you're viewing the apps in the App Store on the Kindle Fire. This is a much touted feature mentioned in many places that includes a menu item "Saved For Later" for retrieving your saved items that appears in the main bottom context menu while you're in the app store main page.

I'm having the same problem too, and have looked all around, checked all sorts of settings, rebooted the Kindle, done Web searches, and nothing...none of the of the apps I save appear in the Saved For Later area.

Thanks for the reply.

I've contacted Amazon Live Help, but they are really no help. They are outsourced help and really have no experience with the product. They just paste links to this forum, etc..

Oh well...

Ah! That explains it. I don't use the store. I use the website and Wish Lists. Which, in the meantime, would be an alternative way to have a "Save for Later" list. You could even name it that.

Folina, that's one possibility I considered. The problem is that you can't easily see these wish list in the Kindle Fire version of the App Store, and would have to visit Amazon through the Web browser to see them. It kinda defeats the purpose of them this feature which in fact appears to be answering that issue. Add to my wish list now that in the next update they fix this! :-)

M. Henzel, glad to know you tried so I don't waste my time (but sorry you did...)! Even though all Amazon shopping support is always top notch, I kinda figured that tech support might be lacking, esp since I have yet to see any clear links TO tech support. Granted, I've not dug too deeply yet for that contact or number cause I gave p for the time being. if I find anything I will let you all know. We can't be the only ones having this problem,

Yeah, hopefully more people will let them know and perhaps they can squash this bug in a FW update.

I'll report any changes I notice here.
