I have a Samsung galaxy note 8 I have a 64gb micro sd card is it possible to download my books on to the card thank you

Well, technically, yes, in the sense that any file can be copied to a storage medium,
BUT
What is it you think you would do with that SD card? You can't use it to transfer the books to a different device, as the book files are encoded to be read only on one particular device. You can only read those books on that particular tablet.
You could transfer books to the SD card to free up space on your tablet, but why bother: amazon's cloud archive does the same thing for you automatically.
So the answer to your question is: Yes, but why would you?

The only thing I can think of would be if you wanted a HERD of books with you, but not on the device, and you'd be somewhere you knew you wouldn't have any internet access. That way, you could load the books back onto the device from the card, if you needed to.

I think the Galaxy has an SD slot. Doesn't it?

ETA: I meant my other post to mean that you'd use the SD card to carry books if you knew you weren't going to have access. Not that you'd use the Cloud for same.

I have a lot of books and I am never quite sure what I am in the mood to read and I always dont have wi-fi access so I would like to download the books to the SD card and read them on my device as the mood strikes. I am not looking to move the content from device or share the SD card. I am looking for convenience. Assuming can be a terrible thing. But thanks for your reply. :)

yes I am self avowed bibliophile. I have a library worth of books and I like being able to pick and choose. As I am not quite sure what I will be in the mood for it would be nice to download them to my SD card so when I dont have wi-fi I can still read :D

As "I'm not" mentioned, it will be specific to the device you ordered the titles for. But yeah, that will work. Happy reading!

That, I have no idea. I can barely work the sd card issue on my camera. But I'm sure someone will be along who can advise you.

Drag and drop.

Which are you going to do, connect the device to the computer or remove the card from the device and insert that in the computer?

In reply to an earlier post on May 14, 2013 7:57:35 AM PDT
If you put the sd card in the computer, then attach the Kindle via USB, you should be able to copy the files from the Kindle to the card..............

I would think so, but I'm not familiar with the galaxy. Does it allow you to copy files from one drive to another? If not, you will need to download each book from MYK, choosing transfer via computer and saving the files to the sd card.

In reply to an earlier post on May 14, 2013 8:07:46 AM PDT
No, you were on the right track before, just substituting the Samsung for the Kindle in the whole equation, in which case, the card will most likely have to be inserted into a card reader connected to the computer.

yes the SD card is in the galaxy note 8, I don't do watch movies or store them. I mainly have music and books on my device. but the device has limited space so I would prefer to move it to the SD card so when I dont have wi-fi access I can still access my books :)

LEJ says:
Thanks M. Francis. I will try the drag and drop method first and if all else fails I will use MYK :)
