Figure the unhappy folks will be along soon enough, this thread is for those of us delighted with Amazon this holiday season.

Amazon got the bulk of our shopping dollars, every order arrived as expected. Gifts shipped to us from family and friends arrived tastefully wrapped.

My son LOVES his new HDX, the screen is amazing. We summoned May Day Amy & were greeted by an Amazon rep in a Santa hat. :)

In short, Amazon has succeeded in delighting my family once again, very pleased with my experiences this Christmas.

I agree. I'm very satisfied, but of course I also made sure to order everything for delivery LAST Tuesday. I'm calm and happy.

Don't forget to check the daily free android app. I've gotten some nice ones, and because they normally cost money, they don't have outside ads on them.

I ordered some last minute gifts on Monday and they arrived today. I bet the warehouse workers are exhausted.

Thank you for the reminder, my son is happily downloading now. I must say the 7 inch HDX is quite nice, the speed difference over the 2012 HD is very noticeable !

I bet they are, plus the UPS drivers struggling to get stuff delivered in areas hit by terrible weather.

Merry Christmas to you :)

Anyone who got deliveries today from UPS or FedEx better have offered some cookies at least! : )

Our UPS delivery guy is wonderful - they usually deliver around 7pm ( we're way out of town, on the end of the route).
When I was homeschooling, he dropped off a box of books at the usual time, then came back about an hour later when he realized he hadn't given me both.

We also have an awesome UPS delivery man. He is very nice and normally is early in the afternoon. With all the Christmas deliveries he was much later today but that is understandable. With all the deliveries they this time of the year, it is a wonder they are still in a good mood. I am sure they are glad the holiday season is just about over.

At the last moment on Sunday I ordered a book for my son and it arrived today. He was very surprised and happy when he got it.

I think they are paid double overtime during the holiday season. They certainly earn it.

I'd bet you are correct. My gratitude to the Amazon warehouse workers and the UPS delivery people! You have all really contributed to my family's happiness this season.
