Will I be able to read my Kobo books on a Kindle Fire? My Kobo e-reader died recently and I want to still be able to read the books that I bought through Kobo on whatever e-reader i get to replace it.

Ashli, you would have to side load the Kobo app on to the Fire, and then you could use the books. I can't help with the side loading, but some Googling should get you the info you need.

Aside from Meya's suggestion, you can also find file converters out there on the 'net (be careful, though, as some of them are just trojan horse programs for viruses) that will use your computer to convert your Kobo files to Kindle format, html, .txt, whatever you want. Technically, this is legally questionable, but in general as long as you don't share the files with anyone else nobody makes a fuss.

That's a really bad idea. Side loading the app would be easy, and wouldn't require her to strip the DRM or convert the files.
