I have been a Kindle For PC and a Kindle Reader on my old HP Tablet for some time. I have maybe fifteen or twenty books purchased and they show up on both of those devices. My wife just bought a Kindle Fire HD and she has a separate account with Amazon. Is there a way to have her Kindle Fire access my already purchased Kindle books? We don't always read the same things, but often we share.

Not really. You might be able to loan her a few books, but most can't be loaned. If she hasn't bought many books yet, you might consider having her register her Kindle to your account. That way, you can share the books you want to, and you don't have to worry about the ones you don't.

If she has bought books within the past 7 days, she could return them and re-purchase them under your account. She could buy them from her account as gifts to yours. That way, they are available to both of you and she's paying for her own purchases.

You can't combine your accounts into one but she can register her kindle to your account. However, if she has already made digital purchases under her account, she would not be able to access those items while registered to your account.

This is the sort of thing you should figure out BEFORE you buy / register a device. I have more than one Kindle registered to my account, and they don't always read the same things...but when they want to they can. Not so with separate accounts.

One alternative is to buy a $69 Kindle registered to your account and use it to loan any books you buy that she wants. I keep a Kindle Basic handy for just that purpose.
