I have a Fire and just purchased a Fire HD for my husband (we are now a 4-kindle household!). In the past, we shared one account but we elected to put the newest Kindle in his name and we now have two accounts but one household. Is it still possible to share books? If yes, how? Thanks!

some books are lending enabled and can be loaned, one time only, for 14 days

Salli M says:
Hate to bother you but how do I know if a book is lending-enabled?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 24, 2012 3:19:36 PM PST
Go to the page of the book you bought, look and see if it says "loan this book" at the top of the page, that's the easiest way I know, if anyone knows an easier way I'd like to learn it:)

I checked 10 books and none of them said it, most say:

Text-to-Speech: Enabled
X-Ray: Enabled
Lending: Not Enabled

Dog Lover says:
Under the section on the book page, it will say if it is lending enabled

This one for example is not enabled.

I believe but am uncertain that some book pages do not mention this at all. In that case, again - I "think" - we are to assume "not."

Becky, I consider this easier than that...but not easy. :)

You can go to

http://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle

If you click or tap the

Actions...

button, you will see a choice to

Loan this title

if it's enabled, and that choice won't appear if it isn't.

It still requires checking each title, but you don't have to go back and forth between product pages and MYK.

You are most welcome! I suspect I didn't see that earlier "thanks" because I put that OP poster on ignore. (LOVE that feature!)
