MP3's Copied via USB - No Album Covers?

I have a large collection of CD's ripped to MP3 via Windows Media player. When in Windows the album covers display fine. When I copied some of the CD/MP3's to my Fire HD via USB, the album covers don't display (and yes the album art itself was copied). I did a search here but came up empty. Is there anyway to get them to display in the Kindle Fire music player?

I'd love to know the answer to this too as I'm having the same problem. The art shows on every other device I have including iphone/ipad/winamp/digi jukebox - but not the Kindle?!?!?!

Same Problem, Double checked all album covers. Then deleted everything on the Kindle. I then copied one song at a time. still the same problem.

I don't have an answer. I'm in the middle of a CD rip-fest right now preparing to do the same thing. I <think> it has to do with Amazon's use of the cloud player and whatever music verification service they use.

That's how MS gets the album art, by synching with a music service, afaik. I turned off the service for my ripping because it takes a long time (ripping around 100 CD's).

If you upload the music to the Amazon cloud player, the album art should become available for use. But this is all speculation on my part.

I figured it out!!!!!! (at least for me) I looked at the details of the music. The bogus album covers are used when the ALBUM tag is not filled in. After coping all my music to the kindle, the details of the files in my windows explorer gave it a "music" album if it want filled in, It must have used the 1st album cover to fill in. So make sure the almum name is tagged.
