hi im 37 ive loved kiss since i was 7 years old my first album was dressed to kill, but my fav is destroyer.its amazing their still going for all these years,of course theres some thats still around but i cant think of any that been going this long without stopping for several years then coming back a few years later.kiss never stoped since they started, now tell me if you can who else has done that?i cant think of any can you?and as far as best singers in rock paul is the best in my opinion, just think who else in rock music sang in the phantom of the opera musical or has that much talent?if you can think of someone then why didnt they do it like he did?

Says he's 37, but his language/speech skills seem more like a 3rd grader.

kiss have the best music, and they have those mask that is cool
but most of all they have the bst stage show in the word, whit foreworks, boms, special effects, smoking boms, lazer, tv big screens, gitar whit bombs, gene that flying up to the topp off the hall, paul that flying into the end of hall, spiting blood, fire breathing, drumshow, bass show, gitarshow, good vocals, good songs, talking to people let them sing whit them, big speakers, big stage, disco lights, black lights, bliking lights, and big kiss logo in the back of dstage, and drums going up and down, and they are coming down like elivator in begining of show, they, have elivators on bought sides of stage move up to the topp, destroying gitars, trow girar pick to the crowd, and so on,,kiss rules, thanks from Trond j, grimstad, norway 18.feb2009

Kiss haven't made a record in 11 years. Alice Cooper and the Rolling Stones (to name just 2) have never gone that long between records and they started before Kiss.

I'm 37 years old and Kiss has been my favorite band since I was 5 (1977). I am sometimes ashamed to admit that I am a Kiss fan, not because of Kiss, but because of other Kiss fans. Most Kiss fans I have met are some of the most close-minded people I have ever come across. For instance, if you were to ask another fan what other music they like, 9 times out of 10 it's either AC/DC, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Metallica and Motley Crue or they don't listen to other music. I listen to everything from the above mentioned bands to old school punk rock to funk to blues to country and alternative/indie music. Another thing that irritates me is the "Kiss are Gods and can do no wrong" mentaility. They are human beings who make mistakes just like everybody else. Open your minds people!

There's no doubt these guys still have mass appeal.
There is a timeless value that they seem to have.
Young to old, the fan base seems to keep going.

How have they done it? That's a mystery. They are both the most loved, and most hated of all bands. What other band in hostory has been so polarizing? Even their strongest supporters find major faults with them. MYSTERY, it's the "What will they do next?" that keep people looking for more.

One thing I have noticed by reading this thread. A FEW of the people that responded to this post, simply cannot spell worth a damn. Can you people put more than 2 words together that even make sense? Michael Taylor and Trond Johnsen are the 2 I'm talking about. WTF!! A few of the others are screwed up too, but those 2 are awful.

You can't base true artistic greatness on record sales. Otherwise, Milli Vanilli, Kylie Monogue and Kanye West are better than The Who, Free, Faces and Ian Hunter.
It's a big world, guys, you can like Kiss and Aerosmith. I do. :)

KISS are the most fun you can have with rock n roll. No one ever wanted to dress up as The Eagles for Halloween. Plus they ROCK too.....8 inches above ground.
