I reccomend the foxskytech FNB14-13.3/14.1inch It has an intel atom CPU and up to four gigs of RAM not to mention a 160HDD that can be upgraded to 500 gigs, If you want to learn more about the product contact me on skype at mathew.jakespc and look at jakespc.weebly.com for reviews and comparisons or foxskytech.com to buy
Hope I was of assistance

Advertising? Isn't that what most people do on the discussions, even recommending a product is advertising.

Looking for a lap top that will store and process photo's, also can be used for documents and words. Not familiar with computers looking for a good starter.

From what you've said most systems should work okay for you.

You'd want to get something with either AMD's A series CPUs (A6, A8, A10) or Intel's i series CPUs (i3, i5, i7). Avoid the c or e series, and ESPECIALLY avoid Atom, as they're designed more to power tablets and phones and that kind of thing.

If you want to run games, AMD's A series would suit you better, if you don't care, either is probably fine (Intel's video is both less powerful, and less compatible/has worse drivers).

I will be selling web services on the phone. Talking, not typing is my thing. Speech recognition essential. Adult sized laptop. Some field work. Any thoughts ? Thanks.
