The Sex.Com Chronicles: A White-Hat Lawyer's Journey to the Dark Side of the Internet

Forgery is an old and venerable art that has come back into vogue with a vengeance. Unfortunately, the courts, prosecutors, and civil lawyers are running far behind the trend, resulting in huge losses to honest citizens. The Sex.Com Chronicles is a book I wrote about recovering the world's most valuable domain name after it was stolen by a forger using a fax machine and phony corporate stationery to initiate the transfer of the domain from the true owner to himself. Total take from the caper -- at least $11 Million, perhaps much more. It took three years of litigation to unwind a crime that was accomplished in a few hours. If you are interested in learning more about the subject of forgery, the Internet, and how to win a federal lawsuit against long odds, this is a book you might want to read.
