I have a new iMac and have tried to install PSE8, but I keep getting Error 150:30. From the Adobe Forum, I see this has been a problem for several years. The Adobe fixes don't seem to help and a live tech just tells you to try the same remedies that were on the Forum. I know it's a longshot if Adobe can't help me, but has any one else had this problem and solved it? And it should be PS Elements 8. Won't let me change title.

This is probably a worthless suggestion, but maybe try fixing permissions on your disc before installing again? That's pretty messed up if it won't even INSTALL :-0

Thanks. It install and registers, etc. But when I try to open it, I get the 150:30 error. I'm giving up and have ordered Aperture 3.
