J. Mullally says:
Americans are slowly killing themselves with too much fast food and convenience foods. We have been 'fat free' for over 20 years and yet obesity in the Us is just about to reach the level of 70% of the population.

Plus, now even our children are obese, and people as young as their teens are now suffering from the SAME diseases as people in their 40s, 50s and 60s, such as heart disease, cholesterol, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis and Type 2 Diabetes. (for more information, see A Guide to Childhood Obesity Risks (Yike MD Health Reports)

It is clear that doctors can only do so much when someone is that far gone. The secret is to never get so ill in the first place.

Doctors are not gods, and there is no such thing as a magic pill for ANY medical condition, whether it be cholesterol Take Control of Your Cholesterol (Health Matters) or weight loss.

People have to have common sense. They also have to realize that we have to get health costs under control if this country is to have a healthy future in any sense of the word.

Good health starts with every single one of us, individually. So get up off the sofa, and your kids too, A Guide to Family Fitness Outdoors (YikeMD Health Reports) and get working today on a healthier and happier you.

Otherwise, by the time you go to see a doctor with symptoms of any kind, it is probably already too late, the damage has already been done. (Just think about the effect of carrying 50 extra pounds are on your knees, for instance. Try carrying around a couple of grocery bags of food for a whole day and you will get the idea!)

I feel very sorry seeing all these horror stories of doctors and hospitals here in these threads and hope we can all work together to make the mental shift to see we really can take control of our health.
