Sure. You'll just have to point me to when you're being hypacritical. And tell me what it means!

"Actually it would make sense to make this a comment, not a review, or address it in that little block that says "Start Conversation".

I whole heartedly agree. I just wish that conversation bit was more visible. When I'm looking to purchase an unknown, I generally look almost exclusively at the stars. And then maybe read the highest and lowest starred review.

I'm a busy person. I want to quick shop, download, and be happy. If I didn't have to scroll down to tge comment section (and wait for it to load) I'd be more likely to pay it some mind.

Edited for iPad errors.

BULLIES, A Lesson for All of Us (us includes me)

Please, no matter how strongly you feel do not vote on this, and do not point at each other and say this is about you. It is about all of us. No one is above the problem. I kept trying to make the point that a behavior was bad, and I failed because I was pointing at you while I said it.
I have failed many times and in many ways because I pointed at the person and said, "you are wrong, and you need to stop. Look everyone, can you see how wrong they are and that they need to stop?" Everyone agrees, and we all point the finger of righteousness, while congratulating ourselves on putting a stop to the perfidity.

The person or group of persons may have broken a rule, did a wrong, or bad thing, but when you hold them up as an example of the evil thing, you turn them into the face of that evil thing.

I am only going to give one specific example. Karen, the older lady, was the bullied bus monitor. We have ALL heard about her and those young boys, who bullied her on the bus. Those young boys and by extension, their families, have become the face of the bullies. Instead of hating bullying, we are hating them. They are being hated and harassed on a world scale, far beyond anything they were capable of doing. Have these young boys learned a lesson? Oh yes. As they are being bullied BY THOSE WHO ARE REPRIMANDING THEM FOR BEING BULLIES, they have learned that bullying is an evil thing that can leave a mark.

Telling someone that a behavior is wrong is different from targeting them and pointing to them as the face of the wrong behavior. When you do that, you become the bully. We all become the bullies, and the cloak of the righteous does not bestow the right to act like a bully.

Please do not link to this. If you wish to share, whether to condemn or agree, just copy and paste without my name attached.

Thank you

FYI: Ol' Sargeant Stargate is one of the biggest spamming trolls around.

But, why so many nasty women? The negative chat rooms are full of them. What ever happened to 'acting like a lady'? Did these women run away from finishing school? Did the movie "The Stepford Wives" freak out the world? I expect to see women packing guns and brass knuckles before too long. Yikes, and more yikes. How can a nice Jewish boy fall in love with a nasty, mean diva? Susan Atkins had more manners than these trolls. Well, that is until she started killing people. Such negative vibes. Sad, so sad.

Sgt Stargate, over and out.>>

Steve Prefontaine= Sgt. Stargate, with both identities having a notorious history of spamming. And while there's no actual evidence (yet) of his also posting as DaCritic, Book2Die4 or Vegilantee, the curious timing and synchronization of their posts (usually within seconds of each other) points to some method of collusion/coordination, say- having multiple tabs open to facilitate spamming. It's always curious how those that scream and stomp the loudest about following the rules are the biggest offenders. At least Will M. Jones had the decency not to continue posting in these threads anymore after his duplicity was discovered. SS has no such moral compass- and how can you trust a sockpuppet, anyway? For those of you continue to rally around Stargate's banner, you should realize that the person forming the base of your support is himself a fraud.

Quick, quick Mr.Green!
post this everywhere! There's a chance that people might make friends otherwise!
And by the way, this thread collapsed a day ago or thereabouts, when all its most vociferously sanctimonious prats were caught out as hypocrites.

John, who said I've stopped posting anywhere?

Amazon is only a tiny fraction of anyone's life. Or at least, it ought to be.... and other matters caught up with me. Booksignings to rather sticky wallpapering.

And if we are all complaining again, may I say that wallpapering should be available free from the government to those of us whose vision is less acute? -like me. Sighs stickily.....

I see you have returned, Mr.Jones.
Good luck worming yourself back into the good graces of the APES. So far, things seem to be going well for you over on the KBF.
